Clase. Si algo tienen los videojuegos de 2K Czech es un estilo abrumador, y su nuevo título no podía ser una excepción. Con un telón de fondo inmejorable y varios años de desarrollo a sus espaldas, Mafia II se consolida en PC como la mejor de las tres versiones, consolidando así una notable y cargada de estilo oda a la edad dorada del crimen organizado.
El Que Quiere Demasiado se Arriesga a Perderlo Todo
Como tantas otras fantásticas historias, Mafia II da comienzo con una vuelta a casa, la de Vito Scaletta que regresa de permiso tras su participación en la Segunda Guerra Mundial y después de ser herido de levedad. Con una amplitud de foco encomiable comenzamos la aventura, de hecho, batallando en el frente de Italia con el bando de los aliados y en la piel del propio Vito.
Ayudaremos aquí a tomar una villa ocupada por El Eje y convenientemente fortificada. Será nuestro primer contacto jugable con el título y sus dinámicas de acción, y se cerrará no con una victoria aplastante sobre los fascistas, sino con su rendición tras ser convencidos de dejar las armas por uno de los capos locales armado únicamente con un megáfono. A efectos narrativos el prólogo no sirve de gran cosa, pero en el plano metafórico ofrece un mensaje muy claro: Con el respeto se pueden obtener mayores resultados que con las propias armas, aunque ese respeto se haya obtenido con el miedo.
